Can New Yorkers choose just one?  This battle for best fish dish was born from the idea of trying to discover which of these – ceviche or tiradito – is New York’s favorite Peruvian seafood dish. On one hand we have ceviche, a popular dish that has made its way to become the star of various cities’ restaurant menus. On the other hand, we have a delicious, yet relatively unknown dish, tiradito, that has all the elements necessary to enable it to break through and become New Yorkers’ favorite Peruvian seafood dish.

For this reason, eight of the New York area's best Peruvian restaurants have been chosen to participate in the competition which kicks off with this private tasting, and continues with tastings and voting in the participating restaurants around town, and culminates on Tuesday October 7th as the winners are selected by a panel of celebrity judges and one crowd favorite is crowned.
